Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
Oordhva Technologies Inc. ("Oordhva", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
When you contact us. If you call or email us, we receive your name, contact details and anything you choose to tell us.
When you create an account or sign in. We collect:
- your first and last name, email address and password. When you sign up, we first email you a code to confirm your address. Until you confirm it, we keep your name, email address, the IP address you signed up from, and when and how many codes we sent (the codes themselves are stored only in scrambled form). You choose your password only after confirming, and it is passed straight to our account service;
- if you sign in with Google, the basic profile details Google shares with us: your name, email address and Google account identifier;
- the IP address of the device you use when you sign up or sign in.
When you browse the site. Like most websites, our servers automatically record technical information sent by your browser, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the date and time.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive information such as health or financial details through this website.
2. How we use your information
- to respond to your questions and requests;
- to create and manage your account and let you sign in. Accounts are currently set up for client features we plan to offer;
- to keep the site and your account secure, for example to detect and prevent fraud or misuse;
- to run, maintain and improve the website;
- to meet our legal obligations.
We only use your information for these purposes, or for a new purpose if we first get your consent or the law allows it.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses:
- Essential cookies that keep the site working and protect forms from misuse.
- Browser session storage to keep you signed in. It is cleared when you close the browser tab.
- Browser local storage to remember that you have seen our cookie notice.
Some features are provided by Google: the map in our contact section (Google Maps), “Sign in with Google”, and the fonts used on the site (Google Fonts). Icons are loaded from Cloudflare's cdnjs service. The sign-up page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not an automated program, is signing up; Cloudflare receives your IP address and information about your browser and device for this check. When your browser loads these, the provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but the map and Google sign-in may not.
4. When we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, the cloud infrastructure behind our account service, Google and Cloudflare for the features above, and Resend, which delivers the emails we send (such as sign-up confirmation codes) and so receives your email address, first name and the content of those emails. They may use it only to provide their services to us;
- when required or permitted by law, for example in response to a valid court order;
- as part of a sale, merger or reorganization of our business, under the same protections described here.
5. Where your information is stored
Our service providers may store or process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Account information is kept while your account is open. Sign-up details for an email address that is never confirmed are kept only as long as needed to finish the sign-up and to prevent misuse, such as repeated sign-up attempts. When you ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymize your information within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and any follow-up.
7. How we protect it
We use safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems, and passwords that are never stored in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent, or ask us to close your account and delete your information.
To make a request, email info@oordhva.net. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 30 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide some services, such as your account.
9. Emails from us
We will not send you marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them, in line with Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL). Every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe. We may still send messages you need about your account, such as the code to confirm your email address when you sign up.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11. Other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as the sites of organizations we have worked with. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and will tell account holders about significant changes.
